Japan Student Baseball Association hands down sentences [5/9/2014]

The Japan Student Baseball Association met on Tuesday to determine punishments for the following cases:

Game Suspensions

総合技術(広島)部員のいじめ=2月24日から4カ月17日
Sogo Gijutsu (Hiroshima) - bullying within the club* - four months and seventeen days beginning on February 24

美里(沖縄)部員のいじめ=2月27日から1カ月
Misato (Okinawa) - bullying within the club - one month beginning on February 27

遠江総合(静岡)部員の暴力=4月26日から1カ月
Totomi Sogo (Shizuoka) - violence within the club - one month beginning on April 26

Suspensions

明秀日立(茨城)のコーチ 暴力=4月2日から3カ月
Meishu Gakuen Hitachi (Ibaraki) coach - violence - three months beginning on April 2

成東(千葉)の監督 同=4月18日から4カ月
Naruto (Chiba) manager - violence - four months beginning on April 18

田子(青森)の部長 同=4月11日から1カ月
Takko (Aomori) director - violence - one month beginning on April 11

南陽工(山口)の副部長 同=4月23日から3カ月
Nanyo Kogyo (Yamaguchi) deputy director - three months beginning on April 23

* This was the first time the JSBA handled a case that resulted in a suicide.  Current first and third-year students will be allowed to participate in the Summer Hiroshima Tournament (they did not take part in the bullying).
