Hiroshima: The Carp's two-game winning streak against the Giants came to an end. ... Maeda's personal two-game winning streak ended with his first loss in four starts since his last loss on April 20.  He is 0-1 in two starts against the Giants season.

Yomiuri: The Giants snapped a five-game losing streak.  They also stopped a three-game losing streak at Tokyo Dome. ...
