Yomiuri Giants

  • Kan Otake is scheduled to make his next start on the 21st against Seibu at Seibu Dome.  He threw fifty-three pitches in the bullpen at Giants Stadium on Monday. Source: Nikkan Sports 5/19/2014

Hiroshima Carp

  • Brad Edlred recorded six RBI against the Yomiuri Giants on Sunday.  He was the first Hiroshima hitter to record six or more RBI in a game against the Giants since Shuji Nishiyama drove in six on August 4, 2002. Source: Sponichi 5/19/2014

Yokohama Bay Stars

  • Tony Blanco (left thigh) worked out at kobo Stadium on Monday.  He told reporters his leg was fine and that he might be okay for the starting line-up on Tuesday.  Kiyoshi Nakahata does not want to rush things and said he might wait until the Nippon Ham series at Sapporo Dome (23rd, 24th).
