Thirty-five-year-old pitcher Atsushi Nomi earned his domestic today with eight years of service time on the active roster.
The Tigers are obviously interested in retaining Nomi and will pick the right time to let him know they want him to stay. During a talk event in December last year, Nomi said, "I'd have a lot of things to think about if I were still in my twenties. But I'll be thirty-five. It doesn't really matter anymore. I'll probably be with the Tigers."
