Rakuten Eagles

  • 6th round draft pick Takaaki Yokoyama and 8th round draft pick Susumu Aizawa joined the Ichi-gun team for pre-game practice on Tuesday.  They each tossed batting practice to two hitters. Source: Nikkan Sports 6/3/2014

Chiba Lotte Marines

  • Yuki Karakawa started a Ni-gun game against Yomiuri on Tuesday.  He pitched eight innings and gave up four runs on five hits.  He threw 107 pitches, walked two, and struck out seven.  He gave up a run in the 4th (solo home run to Taishi Ota) and three runs in the 5th. Orix Buffaloes

  • Chihiro Kaneko has not allowed any hits to the twenty hitters he has so far faced this season with the count 3-2 (through Sunday). ...     And meanwhile, every Lotte fan would like Itoh to use the players he has rather than banishing them to ni-gun because he doesn’t like them.

    Lest we forget, right handed power hitting rookie Inoue got to start two whole games before being pulled from the lineup, 49 AB on the year. Kiyota has 3 HR in 31 AB yet he’s in ni-gun.

    Just use the players you have already.
