Kansas City Royals
- The Kansas City Star's Andy McCullough tweeted that Norichika Aoki left Tuesday's game with "'discomfort' in his groin muscle." He followed that up with another tweet that said Aoki "believes he'll be able to play tomorrow. He says he just has a cramp."
New York Mets
The latest on Daisuke Matsuzaka, from the New York Daily News' Kristie Ackert:
... Daisuke Matsuzaka, who left his start on Sunday with a severe stomach illness, was feeling better and gave the Mets a scoreless inning out of the bullpen Tuesday night. Terry Collins said Dice-K is still expected to make his scheduled start Friday in Miami, but because of the righty’s short start on Sunday, the team felt it would be good to give him an inning to stay sharp.

Toronto Blue Jays
Munenori Kawasaki was promoted on Tuesday. From MLB.com's Gregor Chisholm:
... When reports surfaced Monday night that infielder Munenori Kawasaki was on the verge of a promotion, most of the speculation centered around either left-hander Brett Cecil or designated hitter Adam Lind being placed on the disabled list.
Instead of going in that direction, when the official roster move was announced prior to the series opener in New York, it was Delabar who became the odd-man out. The move was made in part to avoid losing Lind or Cecil for the next two weeks.
... Kawasaki will give the Blue Jays some additional infield depth while Lind remains out after he fouled a ball off his right foot during the sixth inning of Saturday's game in Baltimore. Kawasaki got the start at second base on Tuesday night.
