Rakuten Eagles

  • Takahiro Norimoto will continue to pitch on five days of rest.  His next start will likely come on the 29th against Nippon Ham at Sapporo Dome. Source: Sponichi 6/27/2014

  • The Seibu Lions announced that they received and accepted a letter of resignation from Haruki Ihara.  The Lions also announced that Ihara was named an adviser to the front office, effective July 1.  Norio Tanabe will continue as interim manager. Chiba Lotte Marines

  • Yuki Karakawa pitched in a Ni-gun game against Yokohama on the 20th.  He gave up two runs on eight hits and a walk over seven innings of work.  He could return to the active roster in time for a start on the 29th against Orix at QVC Marine.
