Rakuten Eagles

  • Interim manager Hiromoto Okubo does not like the idea of starters pitching on six days of rest and will see how they respond on four to five days of rest with pitch limits at around 100.  Sho Miyagawa, Wataru Karashima, Koji Aoyama, Takahiro Norimoto, and Manabu Mima currently fill out the five-man rotation.  The real test will begin on Tuesday when the team plays nine straight games.
