Hanshin Tigers

  • Yoshinori Tateyama pitched in a Ni-gun intra-squad game on Wednesday.  He entered the game in the 4th and gave up a run on two hits (including a solo home run) over one inning of work. Source: Sanspo 7/24/2014
  • Takumi Akiyama started a Ni-gun intra-squad game on Wednesday and gave up three runs on four hits over three innings of work.  Hiroaki Saiuchi started the game for the Reds and tossed three shutout innings while allowing four hits.  Akiyama, Saiuchi, and Kazuhito Futagami are candidates for a start on the 31st against Yakult at Koshien.
