  • Shoichi Ino joined Noboru Akiyama (1962, 1964), Masaji Hiramatsu (1970), Akio Saito (1978), Kazuhiko Endo (1985), and Hiroki Nomura (1993) as the only pitchers in franchise history to be the first (or one of the first) to reach ten victories in the Central League.  Ino became the Central League's first (and only) ten-game winner on Friday, making him the first Yokohama pitcher to accomplish the feat since Endo in 1985 (Nomura won ten games on the same day another pitcher reached the total).
