Rakuten Eagles

  • Takaaki Yokoyama started a game against Ni-gun Lotte on Sunday and gave up a three runs (one earned) on seven hits and two walks over seven innings of work.  He faced twenty-nine batters, struck out four, and topped out at 147km/h. Source: Sports Hochi 8/25/2014

Softbank Hawks

Orix Buffaloes

  • The Buffaloes will shift their spring camp facilities from Miyakojima Municipal Baseball Stadium to Kiyotake Athletic Park Sokken Stadium next year.  The organization had been using the Miyakojima facilities since 1993.  They decided to switch to Kiyotake Athletic Park because it has better facilities, is closer to other NPB spring camp sites, and is easier to get to.  Ni-gun spring camp will still take place in Miyakojima.
