Yomiuri Giants

Yakult Swallows

  • Wladimir Balentien joined Takahiro Ikeyama (1988-1992) and Roberto Petagine (1999-2002) as the only players in franchise history to string together at least four consecutive seasons with thirty or more home runs. He also joined Tyrone Woods (2003-2008) and Petagine (1999-2003) as the only foreign players in Central League history to record thirty or more home runs in at least four consecutive seasons, beginning in their first years in Japan.
