  • Forty-one-year-old pitcher Fumiya Nishiguchi is thinking about next season. He started the year at Ichi-gun and worked out of the bullpen until he was taken off the active roster in May with discomfort in his left side. Since resuming play at Ni-gun in August, he has gone 0-1 with save and a 2.35 ERA in six games. He is currently eighteen victories short of 200. The Lions will most likely offer the veteran a contract for 2015. Source: Sports Hochi 9/12/2014
