Naruse held a press conference at QVC Marine on Saturday to announce his decision to exercise his option. He will submit the necessary paperwork on Tuesday.     Naruse is gone. These rumors of 3 years, 6-oku from Hanshin seem reasonable. After being treated like junk these past two years you could see the frustration – and I think sadness – on his face.

    I think he’ll be in a different uniform sooner rather than later. After all, he just turned 29 and has a career 3.16 ERA and 1.10 WHIP – who wouldn’t want that guy in their rotation? Anyone except Lotte, apparently.

    Sad times.
