  • Kyosuke Takagi threw sixty-three pitches during a bullpen session at Giants Stadium on Saturday. Takagi got tips on how to throw the shuto from pitching coach Kazuya Tabata on Friday. He worked on throwing the pitch during his session on Saturday. Source: Sponichi 11/15/2014
  • Chunichi senryokugai Takehiro Donoue's tryout began on Saturday at Giants Stadium. He took sixty-seven swings during batting practice and hit five over the fence and recorded forty-one could-be hits. Source: Sponichi 11/15/2014
  • The Giants and Tigers announced an Old Timers Charity Auction to raise money for Tohoku earthquake victims. Uniforms and baseballs autographed by players participating in Sunday's Hanshin-Yomiuri Old Timers Game will be on the block. Source: official announcement

  • Intra-squad game on Saturday: Masahiro Nakatani got the start in center and batted third for the Reds. He recorded a run-scoring double in the 3rd with runners on first and second and two out.
