Yomiuri Giants

  • Former Giant Hideki Matsui neither denied or agreed to the idea of becoming manager of the team at some point in the future while fielding questions during the Tenth Hideki Matsui Youth Baseball Tournament Awards Ceremony on Sunday.   • Chatan Village is spending over 200 million yen to renovate Chatan Stadium -- 190 million yen for a new scoreboard, 7.8 million to replace the field (new grass and dirt), and 3.5 million yen for a new outfield fence with rubber padding. Yakult Swallows
