  • Hiroshi Fukasawa graded a number of players on their responses during mock interviews and gave Rakuten Eagle first round draft pick Tomohiro Anraku at ninety-eight. The last player out of high school to get a nine-eight or higher was Yoshinori Sato with a perfect 100 in 2008. Players on the Saibi High School baseball team performed answer practices by saying "hai" (yes) 100 consecutive times. The late Masanori Joko, manager of the Saibi team, also taught his players to talk to their parents and elders in a respectful manner. Source: Sponichi 1/14/2015
