Hanshin Tigers

  • Kentaro Kuwahara threw about thirty pitches to a standing catcher at the Naruohama facilities on Monday. It was his first bullpen session of the year. Source: Sanspo 1/13/2015

Hiroshima Carp

  • Takahiro Arai will most likely be assigned to Ichi-gun spring camp. However, Koichi Ogata has not yet decided whether or not to take him to Okinawa camp that begins on February 18. Ogata does not want Arai working himself too hard before the start of the season and does not expect him to do the same amount of training as the younger players on the team.
