Softbank Hawks

  • Ichi-gun and Ni-gun camp had the day off on Thursday.
  • The Fighters held a press conference for Victor Garate on Thursday. Source: official announcement
  • First round draft pick Kohei Arihara (right elbow) threw baseballs into a net off a bullpen mound on Wednesday. He threw at about forty percent. Chiba Lotte Marines

  • Ichi-gun and Ni-gun camp had the day off on Thursday.
  • Pitching coach Eiji Ochiai told reporters on Wednesday that pitchers that do not toss batting practice or pitch in batting practice scrimmages will not be able to play in intra-squad games. Second round draft pick Eisuke Tanaka may not get the chance to pitch in either intra-squad game on the 14th or 15th.   • Kazuhiro Sasaki visited camp on Wednesday. First round draft pick Tomohiro Anraku submitted a request to meet Sasaki because there questions he wanted to ask him, like how to play catch, whether he should lift weights, and if he should learn how to throw a pitch with sinking movement.
