Softbank Hawks

  • Ichi-gun and Ni-gun camps had the day off on Monday.
  • Daisuke Matsuzaka would like more time to work on his mechanics before pitching in games. The Hawks are slated to play intra-squad games during the third (February 10-12) and fourth block (February 14-17). Matsuzaka would rather skip the games and toss batting practice at least twice beginning in the fourth block of camp. Source: Sponichi 2/9/2015, Sports Hochi 2/9/2015, Daily Sports 2/9/2015 ... Matsuzaka's first game could come against Samsung (KBO) on February 27, or against the Rakuten Eagles on February 28 or March 1. Source: Nikkan Sports 2/9/2015
