Softbank Hawks

  • Ichi-gun and Ni-gun camp had the day off on Wednesday.
  • The Hawks announced that they sold naming rights to the home run terraces in right and left.  The terrace in right was sold to ANA and the terrace in left was sold to Sankyu. Both agreements are for one year. Source: official announcement

Orix Buffaloes

  • Ichi-gun camp had the day off on Wednesday.
  • Hiroyuki Nakajima and Eiichi Koyano are set to make their debuts during an exhibition game against Softbank on the 21st. They will get two to three trips to the plate. Source: Sponichi 2/18/2015

Nippon Ham Fighters

  • The Fighters decided to pass on thirty-four-year-old pitcher Cha-Seung Baek. He had been with the team since the 12th. Source: Nikkan Sports 2/18/2015

  • The Fighters are taking it slow with first round draft pick Kohei Arihara because of concerns about his right elbow. Since the schedule is light in April, they might delay his Ichi-gun debut until May. Source: Sports Hochi 2/18/2015

Rakuten Eagles
