Source: Sports Hochi 2/26/2015 ... Yutaka Wada told reporters that the decision to move Nishioka to third was not final and that they were simply exploring options that would help them win. Nishioka's response to the move, "The manager has final say. If I'm not going to listen, then I should leave the team. But I have no intention of leaving. I want to consider what is necessary to win." Source: Nikkan Sports 2/26/2015 ... Nishioka also had this to say about the move, "After joining Hanshin, I really felt like there wasn't much competition going on within the team. [Ryota] Imanari, Ryota [Arai], and [Naomasa] Yokawa have all been working hard. I felt if I went along with the move to third right off the bat, it would kill the energy. I wanted to help promote competition within the team. I didn't want to take anyone's motivation away by going along with the manager's decision to change positions right away."
