  • Fumiya Nishiguchi started the game for Seibu and gave up two runs on four hits over two innings of work. He also committed two balks. He topped out at 136km/h and struck out three.
  • Makoto Aiuchi relieved Nishiguchi and tossed three shutout innings while allowing one hit.
  • Hotaka Yamakawa started at first and batted sixth. He tied the game at two in the 4th with a two-out, two-run single to left.
  • Eiichi Koyano got the start at third for Orix and batted clean-up. He went 1-for-2. He struck out in the 1st and was replaced by a pinch-runner after recording a single to right in the 3rd inning.
