  • Kyoiku League game against Orix on March 8: first round draft pick Yuya Yokoyama started the game and gave up two runs on three hits over two innings of work. He topped out at 148km/h.   • Practice game against Tokai Rika (Industrial League) on March 7: Ryosuke Hirata got the start in left and batted fourth. He recorded three hits: infield single in the 1st, two-out RBI single to center in the 3rd, single to center in the 6th. Since the end of spring camp, Hirata is 9-for-29 with three RBI.
