  • Kyoiku League game against Hiroshima on March 14: Rick VandenHurk did not allow a run or hit over three innings of work. He threw thirty-five pitches. He was able to throw the slider and curveball, but did not get around to throwing the change-up. Source: Nikkan Sports 3/15/2015

  • Ni-gun game against Lotte on March 15: Yuki Saito started the game and gave up one run on six hits over six innings of work. He threw eighty-nine pitches, walked two, and struck out five.
