Softbank Hawks

  • Ni-gun game against Chunichi on March 31: Rick van den Hurk started the game and tossed seven shutout inning. He faced twenty-five hitters, gave up two hits, walked one, hit one, struck out thirteen, and topped out at 151km/h. Source: Nikkan Sports 3/31/2015 ...   • The media learned on March 31 that there is a good chance Daisuke Matsuzaka will not be ready to pitch in a Ni-gun rehab game before April 10. Orix Buffaloes

  • Chihiro Kaneko (right elbow) is working out at Ni-gun. The Buffaloes have not set any concrete timetables and will work closely with Kaneko in determining how to move forward with his rehab/workouts while proceeding with caution. Source: Sanspo 3/31/2015

Nippon Ham Fighters
