Should have been a blowout. Three Tigers runners thrown out at home or chased down on their way. Murton’s shallow grounder in the 4th, Yamato’s in the 6th and Yamato’s failed bunt attempt on a squeeze play in the 8th. I applaud the aggressiveness but hate seeing such failed execution. Still, a win’s a win!

Let me clarify though. I do not applaud the sacrifice bunt with a runner on second and no one out (with Yamato and Messenger due up next) or the squeeze play attempt on the first pitch, either, for that matter.
