Yakult Swallows

  • Shingo Takeshita tossed batting practice on November 8 and struggled with his control: of the forty-nine pitches he threw, thirty-one were balls. He threw 147 pitches in the bullpen after his batting practice outing. Takeshita did not get to pitch at the Ichi-gun level this year because he had problems with his elbow and shoulder.
