Softbank Hawks

  • Kimiyasu Kudo is planning give all players a performance report from the past season. He took notes on each player during the season. He wants to give the players his notes because he feels it might help them figure out what they need to do to improve their game. Kudo is hoping Ichi-gun roving general position players coach Koichi Sekikawa can become a bridge for all three levels in the organization.   • Former Nippon Ham Kazumasa Kikuchi has decided to retire. He spent 2015 as a pitcher/pitching coach with the BC League's Gunma Diamond Pegasus. Chiba Lotte Marines

  • Intra-squad game on November 11: Naotaka Takehara (tryout) was the starting designated hitter and batted fifth.
