  • Assuming Seung-Hwan Oh returns in 2016, Tomoaki Kanemoto wants to try his had at developing the team's next closer by using them in high-pressure, but relatively low-risk situations. "For example, in the last inning, three-run lead, save situation, bottom of the order up to bat, or no pinch-hitters left on the bench, we can rest Oh and use a young pitcher. Like [Ryoma] Matsuda or Saiuchi. If they get in trouble by putting runners on, then we can ask Oh to step in. The best would be to use Oh while also using younger pitchers," said Kanemoto.
