Softbank Hawks

Nippon Ham Fighters

  • The Fighters announced a number of uniform number changes on Novmember 15: Kenshi Sugiya from 61 to 2, Haruki Nishikawa from 8 to 7, Kensuke Kondo from 54 to 8, Shota Ono from 2 to 27, Yutaka Otsuka from 14 to 54. They also assigned Chris Martin the uniform number 55 and catcher/Ni-gun battery coach assistant Tomohito Yoneno the uniform number 70. Source: official announcement

  • Kona Takahashi gave up five runs on eleven hits over five innings during his last intra-squad outing. He started getting work done on his teeth during the season (he has been wearing a mouthpiece everyday for about twenty hours a day).
