Takamatsu Shogyo records first tournament win in first tournament appearance in thirty-seven years.

Keizo Yonebaku (Takamatsu) got the start a short and batted third. He went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base.
Kosei Mino (Takamatsu) started at second and batted fifth. He went 3-for-5 with a triple and three RBI.

Soichiro Yamazaki (Tsuruga Kehi) tossed a complete game and took the loss: 9.0 IP, 156 NP, 42 BF, 13 H, 9 SO, 3 BB/HBP, 7 ER. Yamazaki fell apart in the 8th inning when he loaded the bases with two infield hits and a walk. A wild pitch and a two-run single by Takamatsu's Yonkebaku tied the game a three. Yamazaki allowed two more runs before getting out of the inning with Tsuruga Kehi down 5-3.
