Got News? Then by all means, send it in

by Gen on Jan.04, 2010 @ 2:19 pm, under Site Administration

Have an interesting scoop or story?

If so, please don't hesitate to send it in.

I'm only one person here, so my time is limited and I usually focus my attention on Japanese sites (asides from the handful of posts I make on Japanese players in the Majors).  And that means there's a really good chance I'll miss out on some quality posts that may have been written by the English-speaking blogosphere.

Again, this isn't intentional.  It's just that there aren't enough hours in the day for me to sift through everything...  Unless of course I have your help.

So if any of you come across something that I've missed, or written something that you think might be of interest to other readers, please send it in to news[at]yakyubaka.com.

Computer Problems

by Gen on Oct.03, 2009 @ 8:02 am, under Site Administration

Sorry about the lack of timely updates.  Been having some computer problems that I think I've managed to finally sort out.  I also made a trek up to Sendai to try and catch a couple of Eagles' games.

FYI: I'm currently working on the game summaries and news updates.  I already posted the roster updates.

Some housekeeping

by Gen on Sep.12, 2009 @ 5:52 pm, under Site Administration

I decided to move the roster updates off the top page of the site in order to keep the news updates showing for a longer period of time.  You can now access the last 10 roster updates via the right sidebar.  You can also view all of them by visiting the Roster Updates category of the site (you can find the link to this category in the right sidebar in the "Various Handy Posts" block).

I may also end up doing this with the game summaries, although I'm still not 100%.  If anyone has any thoughts on how I can organize the information so that it's easier to find / read, please let me know.
