Wishing all the readers here a safe, happy, and healthy 2012.

I plan on live blogging as much of this year's draft as I can.  Unfortunately, I won't have access to Sky A like I've had the past 2 years and will instead be relying on TBS (TV).  That means there's a good chance I won't be able to provide results as quickly as I'd like once their coverage ends (4:53pm - 5:45pm).  Fortunately, there's also Nippon Hoso on the radio (5:00pm - 7:00pm).

In any case, this is just a general heads up that while I will be blogging the draft, there may be some slight delays in updates in the later rounds.

Just a quick update: I'll be locked away in recording studio again for the entire morning and most of the afternoon on Thursday (9/1).

A quick heads up: I probably won't have access to a computer for most of the day again today due to work.  Fortunately, the NPB has the day off today so I won't have to worry about box scores and game updates.  I will post whatever news updates the occur during the day once I get back in from work.

I first wanted to thank everyone that posted a message for me.  You may not believe me when I say this, but your comments meant a lot to me and they went a long way towards helping me get through some things over the last few days.

Second, as I mentioned in a previous post, the wake took place on Friday and the funeral / cremation ceremonies took place on Saturday.  I actually couldn't catch the wake on Friday, but I was there for the funeral / cremation ceremonies.

I just wanted to post a quick update regarding my posting schedule.

My grandmother's wake has been scheduled for later tonight in Karuizawa.  I might end up missing a portion of that due to work, but I have already informed my parents.

Funeral services for my grandmother will take place tomorrow.

Between today and tomorrow, you likely find my posts to be delayed.

This has absolutely nothing to do with baseball, but it does have everything to do with me so I've decided to mention it here.

My grandmother passed away at 10:40am this morning at the age of 102.

I don't know anything else other than that.  My mother just called, told me of the news, and then asked that I call my father and my sister.

I'm not sure exactly how this will affect my update schedule here at the blog.  If there are any significant changes, I'll be sure to let all of you know.  For the time being, I'll be posting updates as usual.  But for the rest of today, all of my posts will be in honor of my grandmother.

I'm out of town right now and will be back in Tokyo on Tuesday afternoon.  My update schedule should return normal then.
