According to Sponichi, the starting rotation for the First Stage of the Climax Series will likely feature Yu Darvish, Masaru Takeda, and Bobby Keppel (in that order).  After that, things get a bit fuzzy, but Yuki Saito's name has been mentioned as a possible Final Stage game 2 starter.  That could, however, change if Fighters sweep the First Stage -- if that happens, Brian Wolfe, Keppel, and Saito could all being potential game 2 starters.

UPDATE @ 8:27pm - Masataka Nashida told reporters today that he was counting on Wolfe to help the team out of the bullpen during the Climax Series.

As of now, the starting rotation for the First Stage of the Climax Series will likely be Masanori Ishikawa, Shohei Tateyama, and Katsuki Akagawa.  However, with Tateyama having blood flow problems in his fingers, there remains a possibility he may not be able to pitch.

Kyohei Muranaka turned in a solid start during a Phoenix League game against Hanshin on Sunday: 5 perfect innings to go along with 3 strikeouts.  According to Sponichi, the performance may have given him a leg up on being the game 2 starter if Tateyama can't go.

The Swallows will have more to go on after they see how Tateyama does during his outing against the Hiroshima Carp on Tuesday.

Incidentally, Muranaka got 5 starts against the Yomiuri Giants this year and went 3-2 with a 2.27 ERA (0.70 WHIP).

Sports Hochi notes that the Softbank Hawks will probably have Tsuyoshi Wada, Tadashi Settsu, Toshiya Sugiuchi, and D.J. Houlton in the starting rotation and will select a 5th man out of the group of Kenji Otonari, Hiroki Yamada, and Sho Iwasaki.

Shota Oba was also a possible candidate to start, but he'll most likely join Masahiko Morifuku, Brian Falkenborg, and Takahiro Mahara in the bullpen for the Final Stage of the Climax Series.
