Aarom Baldiris tweaked his right adductor muscle during his third at bat in the top of the 7th inning and was replaced by Koji Yamasaki at third in the bottom of the inning.  The injury does not appear to be serious -- the team will re-evaluate Baldiris tomorrow and decide what steps to take next.

The Orix Buffaloes announced today that they signed former Chunichi Dragons LHP Shoji Nagamine (27) and OF Issei Nakamura (29).  Nagamine will be paid 7M yen and was assigned the number 69; Nakamura 6.5M yen and the number 63.  Neither player recorded any playing time at Ichi-gun this past season.

The Buffaloes also announced that Alfredo Figaro (27), Evan MacLane (29), Freddy Ballestas (25), Aarom Baldiris (28), and Ikusei Gregory Veloz (23) will all be returning next season.

The Orix Buffaloes announced today that Aarom Baldiris, Francisco Caraballo, and Freddy Ballestas will all be returning to the team in 2011.  Contract details are not yet known.

The Orix Buffaloes announced today that Aarom Baldiris will be leaving Japan tomorrow to return to his country.  It appears Baldiris was supposed to attend fall camp in November, but that plan was scrapped since he has a left knee injury.

The Buffaloes are currently leaning towards having him return next season.

Aarom Baldiris (ORI) injured his right knee while sliding into second base in the top of the 6th and was taken out of the game on defense in the bottom of the inning.  Baldiris got his knee iced and is considered day-to-day at this point.
