Ryuzo Setoyama told reporters today that he plans to resign from his post as team president after the current season. The move apparently has nothing to do with team performance as Setoyama said he feels "tired after 8 years of doing this. I want to take a break and relax a little." Akira Ishikawa is also expected to step down after the season as well.
Setoyama also told reporters that he asked Norifumi Nishimura to return as manager next season on the 10th and already received an ok. Regarding the coaching staff for the 2012 season, Setoyama said he'll leave that up to the new front office.
