[8/6/2015] Kyoto Gaidai Nishi High School takes 11th All-Japan Women’s Baseball Tournament

The 11th All-Japan Women's Baseball Tournament took place in Matsuyama between August 1 and 5. Thirty-three teams (eight high school teams, six university teams, nineteen club teams) from all across Japan participated in the tournament. Kyoto Gaidai Nishi High School took home the championship trophy by beating Madonna Matsuyama 8-1 in the Finals on August 5.

Kyoto Gaidai Nishi joined Kamimura Gakuen as the only high schools to win the tournament.

The 9th All-Japan Women's Baseball Tournament took place between August 3 and 7 at Madonna Stadium and Botchan Stadium.

Riseisha's women's baseball team, RectoVenus, won the tournament on Wednesday by beating Fukushiyama Seibi High School in the Finals, 2-1.

WBAJ: Shobi Gakuen wins 8th All-Japan Women’s Baseball Tournament

Shobi Gakuen University (Saitama) beat Samurai (Saitama) 11-5 on Wednesday to claim top honors at the 8th All-Japan Women's Baseball Tournament.  For Shobi Gakuen, it was their second straight championship, third overall.
