[12/6/2014] Orix Buffaloes add Bullington, Blanco; Dickson, Maestri, German to return

The Orix Buffaloes announced that they reached agreements with Bryan Bullington (34) and Tony Blanco (34). Bullington was assigned the number 27, Blanco the number 42.

The Buffaloes also finalized terms with Brandon Dickson (30), Alessandro Maestri (29), and Esteban German (36).

The media is reporting that Bullington agreed to a one-year deal worth 150 million yen and Blanco a two-year deal worth 500 million yen. Maestri signed a one-year deal worth thirty million yen. German and Dickson will be in the final years of two-year deals -- German's deal is worth 100 million yen and Dickson's sixty million yen.

Naoki Miyanishi (29) met with team officials for contract negotiations on Saturday. He decided not to exercise his FA option and instead signed a two-year deal that will pay 180 million yen plus twenty million yen in incentives in 2015. There is also an option for a third year that will become guaranteed if he pitches in fifty or more games in each of the next two seasons.   • Yuya Kubo left Sunday's game against the Yokohama Bay Stars with discomfort in his right leg. He was throwing practice pitches before the bottom of the 6th when he felt something in his right calf. He left the field for treatment but was unable to return.
