  • Takahiro Norimoto tossed a bullpen session on the first day of fall camp on Sunday. He threw eighty pitches to a squatting catcher. He used an MLB baseball in preparation for the Suzuki All-Star Series. Source: Nikkan Sports 11/2/2014
  • Hiromoto Okubo does not think he deserves to use (or needs) a manager's room and feels it could be put to better use as a place where the team can go over strategies (aka, a war room). He also said would use the room where centipedes come out for his changing room (the same room he used when he was interim manager). Source: Sponichi 11/2/2014, Sanspo 11/2/2014 ... Okubo wants to push his players hard during fall camp, but not to the point where they get hurt. "There is something wrong with being okay with players getting hurt during the fall.
