According to at least two reports, the Chiba Lotte Marines have an interest in forty-two-year-old Jose Contreras and could give him a tryout during fall camp this year.  The starting rotation has struggled this season and the Marines believe Contreras might have enough left in the tank to help in 2015.  The veteran righty has also reportedly expressed an interest in ending his career in Japan.
