[12/5/2014] Hiroshima finalizes terms for 2015 with Heath and Rosario

The Hiroshima Carp announced on Thursday that they finalized terms for 2015 with Deunte Heath (29) and Rainel Rosario (25). Heath agreed to a one-year deal wroth an estimated 750,000 US dollars (up 520,000 US dollars from this year). Rosario will be in the second year of a four year deal that will pay an estimated 276,000 US dollars (up 170,000 US dollars from this year).

Hiroshima Carp

  • The Carp would like to sign Eishin Soyogi (34) and Shogo Kimura (34) to contracts for the 2015 season. Deunte Heath (29), Brad Eldred (34), and Rainel Rosario (25) will likely return (Rosario will be in the second year of a four-year deal next season). The Hiroshima Carp announced that they came to terms with twenty-eight-year-old pitcher Deunte Heath. The two sides agreed to a one-year deal worth an estimated 22.9 million yen plus incentives. He has been assigned the number seventy.
