The media learned today that Eiji Bando's personal management company, Office May Work, failed to report about seventy-five million yen in income over a seven year period up to August 2011.
Of the seventy-five million, about fifty was found hidden in fictitious purchase orders. A revised filing that included a penalty of about twenty-eight million yen has already been submitted.
According to people close to the situation, Office May Work attempted to decrease earnings by pretending to outsource work to other companies and by deducting Bando's personal expenses as business expenses.
