Game Suspensions

Tochio (Niigata) - bullying - six months beginning on February 18

Daito Gakuen (Tokyo) - bullying - six months beginning on February 18

Funabashi Futawa (Chiba) - bullying - one month beginning on March 17

Nakano Nishi (Nagano) - bullying - three months beginning on March 19

Yufu (Oita) - bullying, playing with fire - one month beginning on March 19

Kamo Norin (Niigata) - card gambling - one month beginning on March 4

Osaki Chuo (Miyagi) - larceny, drinking - one month beginning on April 3

Hakata Kogyo (Fukuoka) - smoking - four months beginning on January 22**

Matsusho Gakuen (Nagano) - bullying, destruction of property - from February 13 to September 5*

* extended after one member of the team broke a school window and another beat a teammate because they were unhappy about the original punishment (six-months beginning on February 13, violence).

* According to reports, a first-year student on the baseball team took video footage of sixteen women with his smartphone during a language study program over the summer.  He sent copies of the footage to five teammates.  One of the teammates forwarded the videos to three students not on the baseball team.  The high school found out about the incident when one of the three students not on the baseball team approached a teacher.  The school apologized to the women and suspended a number of the students that were actively involved.
