Dicky Gonzalez gave up 3 runs on 4 hits over 2 innings of work and appeared to have a hard time keeping his fastball down in the zone.
A total 9 foreign pitchers took part in the game.
Hayato started at short and batted 2nd for the whites. He went 3-for-3 - sac bunt, single to left, RBI single to right, walk, single to left.

The Ichi-gun roster closed out the Miyazaki leg of spring camp today.
===== 2/19 @ 3:3pm
Tatsunori Hara told reporters after yesterday's intra-squad game that Levi Romero's outing left a lasting impression. So much so that it seems Romero got a promotion to Ichi-gun and will be one of the closing candidates.
Trio of Obispo, Romero, and Micheal secures a shutout

Tags: Levi Romero, Micheal Nakamura, Wirfin Obispo, Yomiuri Giants
Wirfin Obispo, Levi Romero, and Micheal Nakamura combined to shutout the Hiroshima Carp last night. Sanspo is claiming that they became the first foreign trio in franchise history to toss a shutout. I suppose that all depends on how you classify Nakamura -- he's half Japanese and half Australian.
Incidentally, that last foreign duo to combine for a shutout: Seth Greisinger and Marc Kroon back on 4/17/2008 (vs Chunichi).
In other news:
Greisinger threw 33 pitches in the bullpen yesterday in preparation for an upcoming start. The Giants game against the Hanshin Tigers on 8/3 still seems most likely.
