The Yomiuri Giants' GM Atsushi Harasawa denied interest in Tsuyoshi Nishioka but did tell reporters the team was looking to improve their second base situation. Harasawa also added that they were in talks with Michihiro Ogaswara and that they planned to leave a spot open for him.
