Sponichi reports that the Chiba Lotte Marines are having some difficulty closing the deal with Saburo and will not be able to announce his return until after the 25th.

The Marines were originally hoping to have a deal in place some time this week but could not iron out differences due to time constraints.

An unnamed team rep is quoted as saying, "We are not worried since negotiations have gone well.  We strongly want Saburo to join our team and we hope to have a decision before the end of the year."
