Kiyoshi Nakahata and team president Jun Ikeda worked out for about an hour on Monday.  Their workouts included playing catch at a distance of about 10 meters, BP, and running.  Nakahata also hit about 50 grounders into a net during a round of "imaginary" fielding practice.

Head coach Yutaka Takagi watched over the session and later wondered if Nakahata had enough stamina to hit a lot of grounders during spring camp.

Nakahata is also planning to hold a baseball clinic during a two-day visit to Minamisoma, Fukushima later this month (1/21 and 1/22).
