This was a start from the 17th when Yoshinori faced the Chiba Lotte Marines at Jingu Stadium. For those wondering, he threw at least 15 fastballs (out of 60, or rather 42, since 18 weren't picked up by the radar gun) at or over 150km/h (~93mph) and hit 153km/h (~95mph) twice.

This is a breakdown of the big game Wakui had against the Lotte Marines on the 24th. 164 pitches! This is exactly the type of game that can worry MLB scouts.

I thought Yoshinori Sato's last start was pretty solid and decided I'd breakdown his pitches. It's really too bad that he had to leave the game early due to a popped blister on his throwing hand.

The next WBC could turn out to be really interesting for Japan. A trio of Yu Darvish, Masahiro Tanaka, and Yoshinori would be pretty awesome.
