According to Tokyo Sports, some people in the organization were disappointed that not one member of the 2013 draft class used the Nagoya Stadium facilities on their day off on Tuesday.  Some also thought it was okay not to push the players too hard out of concern for injury while others felt that working out in public was not the only way for players to keep themselves in shape and that some might be doing exercises in the privacy of their own rooms.

The Chunichi Dragons announced today that Yohei Oshima received a shot of lubricant in his left elbow during a hospital visit in Nagoya today and is feeling better.  He is currently scheduled to rejoin the team in Okinawa on Saturday.

Doctors were able to confirm that a loose fragment in the elbow shifted.  The lubricant treatment was selected since WBC mini-camp in Miyazaki begins on the 15th.

Oshima started feeling tightness/soreness in his left elbow on the 4th and returned to Nagoya for tests on Thursday.  He developed a similar problem in August last year, but still managed to play a full 144-game season.
