The Orix Buffaloes announced today that they signed Seung-Yeop Lee to a 1-year deal worth 150M yen plus incentives.  He was also assigned the number 3.

The Buffaloes also announced that they signed former Yakult Swallow Yusuke Kajimoto and assigned him the number 58.  Kajimoto took part in a tryout with the Buffaloes during fall camp in November and passed.

Yakult Swallows' senryokugai Yusuke Kajimoto was a the Orix Buffaloes' fall camp in Kochi today for the start of a tryout with the team.  The Buffaloes also appear to be interested in Nippon Ham Fighters' senryokugai Tomochika Tsuboi.

The Orix Buffaloes are apparently interested in Yakult Swallows' senryokugai'ed 26-year-old infielder Yusuke Kajimoto.  The Buffaloes will check Kajimoto out at the 12-team tryouts before making their final decision.

2010 Season

The Yakult Swallows announced earlier today that the following 6 players won't be given contracts for the 2011 season:

27-year-old Hidehiro Okamoto P

28-year-old Satoshi Nishizaki P

37-year-old Jun Hagiwara P

21-year-old Hiroki Yamada P

26-year-old Yusuke Kajimoto INF

28-year-old Koji Tsukamoto P (Ikusei)

Of these 6 players, Hagiwara, Yamada, and Kajimoto have expressed that they would like to continue playing baseball next season.
